RAWLYN WILLIAM RICHTER III

Rawlyn has worked in music for years, playing in clubs all over Texas from Deep Ellum in Dallas to learning the passion from late nights at the now gone Joe's Garage in Ft. Worth.  He's played backup in a blues band, but he's a rock-n-roll guy at heart.  Songs of Women, Guns, and Booze is the baby. He wrote all the music and lyrics while raising two beautiful girls and trying to keep a senorita wife in line (an impossibility).  The CD finally came to fruition when his little sister needed a movie soundtrack. (It's always those damn women.)  It was amazing to all involved how the songs fit even though they were not intended to go with the movie while they were written. He also worked on a few film sets like James Michener's Texas and Tommy Lee Jones' The Good Ol Boys.  Rawlyn tries to keep junior high school students in Uvalde from harming themselves irretrievably in their formidable years and is currently working on writing fiction and producing a new cd.   www.rawlynwilliamrichteriii.com

Shiloh Richter

Shiloh left a career teaching literature at Sul Ross State University:  Rio Grande College to write, direct, and produce Road to El Paso

For a number of years Shiloh wrote screenplays while working with Agence Talent in Austin doing a little film work.  There is a silly bit in the opening credits of Johnny Knoxville's The Ringer where her mom and she are working in an office building.  After ten years of teaching high school, junior college, then university English, the time was right to pursue the dream.  Her dad and she wrote the screenplay together and then had to learn all the steps to putting a movie together (the hard way!).  They struggled together through everything from horses refusing to load in trailers to having to watch her dad kiss on Debbie French.

Shiloh does creative and marketing work for Frio Country Resorts and The Club at Concan.

(Carlton Wade, a brilliant photographer from Austin, took this photo in a 1800s cabin that overlooks the Frio River.)

DEBBIE LA RUE FRENCH

Rawlyn William Richter III

Dreaming of movies, Debbie LaRue always kept it close to her to take on a film role.  Together with Shiloh, they become a female version of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, believing the dream whole heartedly while enjoying the laughter.  Debbie worked tirelessly as an associate producer and lead actress, completely believing that the dream is the only life to live--even in the face of big black bears in the forests of Ruidoso, New Mexico.  Then again, what are friends for but to travel the world dreaming up the next wild adventure?
